Dark Angels

She sits and waits

Does an angel contemplate her fate

And do they know

The places where they go

'Cos she's been told

That salvation lets their wings unfold

Wherever it may take her

She knows that life won't break her
When she comes to call Angel won't forsake her

In restless dreams she walked alone narrow
streets of cobblestone

'Neath the halo of a street lamp,

She turned her collar to the cold and damp

When her eyes were stabbed by the flash
of a neon light
and touched

-THE SOUND OF SILENT NIGHT-
